Coyote Point Recreation Area is a 670-acre (270 ha) park in San Mateo County, California, United States. Located on San Francisco Bay, it is south of San Francisco International Airport on the border of Burlingame and San Mateo.

The distinctive point, covered by a grove of eucalyptus trees, can be seen from airplanes approaching San Francisco International Airport and is a good location for aircraft spotting and birdwatching.

    After so called huge renovation, this place is a jewel. Although, I am not sure of the effect of the previous landfill, I am trusting the City to protect it's community.  more »

    On a sunny day, bring you kids or grand kids here and enjoy a picnic, walking on the beach or the trail, watching the plane landing or taking family photos. Beautiful beaches. It will be a memorable.....  more »

    Great place to bring visitors or picnic with friends and families. See planes land and there is a small museum on the hill. Great photo opportunities. You can walk down to the wharf and there are nice restaurants nearby after your walk. We had a company party here, which was a great place for an event with 50+ people. The shelters were nice and offered plenty of space for food and shade. The park admission fee of $6 per car was paid by the company, and I’m not sure if i’d pay that myself to come back.

    It's been here a long time. Well used, lots of mature trees, harbor, playgrounds, picnic areas, bike paths, fishing. Something for everyone.
