  • Everyone who watches Texas Country Reporter (as we regularly do) will enjoy walking across the bridge used for the show's opening. We approved from the north of San Saba and had to drive a few miles....  more »

  • This is a steel cable wood planks bridge that is maybe 1.5 lanes wide. It is high above the Colorado River and has a great view. There are some areas where you can pull over and walk. If you are afraid of heights you will want to avoid. This is an active bridge and the only way there is by dirt road. Highly recommend and quick break for the views.
