    This was a great activity on a hot summer day! About 10 degrees cooler than Sandpoint. We took the chair lift to the top and did a short easy hike and ate huckleberries all along the trail!

    Schweitzer is as advertised. It is like it's own little city up high in the mountains. There are lots of activities here, but we mainly came for the chairlift. What an awesome experience. It is not.....  more

    Schweizer is a top notch resort. The people are welcoming, mountain food is delicious, lifts are modern and fast, and it's a family owned business so you don't get the corporate generic resort feel. Plenty of acreage to cover so you can enjoy any type of run that suits you. You will not be disappointed.

    It is an adventure just to get there, and well worth the journey. Out of the way ski resort with great runs and great views. Good for a two to three day trip.
