  • Leave the kids at home so you can look at the glass and not worry about them getting bored or breaking something. They do have someone blowing glass every hour so you can view the process.  more »
  • Our tour dropped in here on a Cape Cod excursion - I hadn't realised that a glass factory and museum could be so interesting. I've seen glass blowing so many times so I gave that bit a miss therefore ...  more »
  • We timed it well that we were able to see the glass blowing demonstration. Extensive collection of period glass. Cool dinner party diorama half way through the museum. Staff is friendly.  more »

  • Got the chance to watch a member of staff make a blown glass mushroom, very interesting. Took our time exploring the many rooms of the museum. Lots of history and craftsmanship to see and read about. If you bring children keep an eye on them as some of the items in the gift shop are within reach of little hands, but I'm sure they will love to see all the glass animals.
  • The Sandwich Glass Museum was a real nice stop as my family toured Cape Cod. It was nothing fancy, but worth our time. The story about the factory and the town of Sandwich was informative. The glass blowing demonstration was interesting and helped us understand the process. I highly recommend stopping by the Sandwich Glass Museum.
  • What a wonderful experience!! This place is full of wonderful and amazing things about glass, it’s colors, it’s designs, and many more stories about glass making. We never knew people who had been working on this glassware were geniuses. There is section where you can she glass blowing (please check for timings before hand because it closes before the museum closes). Bathrooms were clean and there were also few glass items kept which will surely make you think about their hard work. Staff was polite and helpful. And because we reached just in time of museum closing, they let us in without tickets-“free visit” yay!! 😀 A must-see place!
  • A small historical museum with many colorful collections to surprise visitors. Displays are glass artwork dating back from 15th century till contemporary times. They also have a live show to demonstrate glass blowing technique. A nice place to spend a half day and know more about the Cape.
  • Historical display of sandwich glass. Demos of glass blowing. Nice little gift shop. A little bit pricey on some items. Worth the visit. Kids seemed to enjoy it as well.
