Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens Reviews
Not your typical zoo!! Great adventure and wide variety of animals. Lots of activities for the kids and adults to partake in. Mini water park where the kids can play while the adults relax. The rhino ... more »
We went on a Saturday with the family and our 1yr old. All the animals from the petting zoo were put away so in reality there’s wasn’t much for him to enjoy besides feeding the Giraffe. It’s definitel... more »
Good place for a two hour visit. Its a good place to hang out with little kids. They have a train ride and a carousel at the entrance( need separate pay other than ticket). The walk is very relaxing and they have most animals (Giraffe, Tiger, cheetah, leopard, black bear, Rhino, Alligator, Crocodile, bald eagles, small monkeys, lemurs ,wild cats, otters, etc) which kids love. They also have a park inside. The pet zoo and Giraffe feeding will be interesting for little kids. Its not tiring at all. Loved it.
The boardwalks were great for walking around. A lot of the animals were out and about and we got to see them feed the porcupines. The giraffe feeding is definitely worth doing but be aware it's all based on the giraffes themselves and you might not get to do it (they'll refund your money if you don't get to). Afternoons are a good time to catch some feedings by the zookeepers. The zoo isn't huge and can easily be accomplished in 2 hours.
