Sanibel Island Golf Club, Sanibel Island

My husband and I visited Sanibel for the first time this year and booked this course prior to arrival. We loved the staff and the owners. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The wildlife and the course were beautiful. We decided to book a second tee time this stay and had just the same experience. We will be returning customers for sure!! Such a fun course to play while visiting Sanibel. The owners are incredibly nice people which makes the experience even better. Lots of improvements have went into the course recently. Rates are more than reasonable for an island golf club. Beautiful scenery and wildlife (bald eagles, alligators, iguanas). Another big plus is the restaurant that's attached to the golf course (Blue Giraffe). The food is really really solid here, and you can place a to-go order when you are almost to the turn. We recently visited with some friends for an annual golf trip and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate our outing. Very, very laid back atmosphere unlike the other nearby courses that have rangers constantly watching you like a hawk to make sure your pace of play doesn't fall behind by 2 minutes. If you forgot to pack enough golf clothes, the clubhouse offers an abundance of awesome island golf attire. I definitely recommend playing this course if you visit Sanibel.
