In addition to stand-up paddleboarding lessons, Cal Coast Adventures offers guided tours and rental services. You can pick up a mountain, road, or electric bike here, or rent surf boars and/or kayaks. Private surf lessons will introduce you to the sport and ensure you receive lots of personal attention from your instructor. If you prefer to learn with others, sign up for a group lesson. To stay dry and give your leg muscles a workout, go for a bike or hiking tour. These are designed to be leisurely and fun, which makes them suitable for families with kids. If you're looking for a package of activities your group can enjoy together, consider a mix of surfing lessons and bubble soccer. Cal Coast Adventures reviews
I rented a 2020 Trek Domane Road bike at Cal Coast for two weeks - great bike, friendly staff, and a reasonable price. Cheaper than the round trip would have been to bring my own bike. more »
Can't say enough good about this company - especially Rose, who handled our reservation from beginning to end. Friendly, knowledgeable, hospitable. We will definitely have more staff outings on... more »
My college age daughter and myself had a great bike tour, lead by our guide, Nate. Nate expertly navigated the streets and sites of Santa Barbara, from the shore vistas to the Mission in the hills. The electric bikes were very intuitive and a blast to ride. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes to ride bikes, see amazing views and wants a good overview of Santa Barbara. It was a lot of fun!
I had a stand up paddle board lesson with Emily on Tuesday (3/26/19) and it was INCREDIBLE. Before signing up, I visited the Cal Coast office with questions about the various lessons that were offered. ALL of the office staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. During the lesson Emily made me feel extremely comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Santa Barbara and gave me really useful tips for paddle boarding. This was my first experience on the water but it definitely won't be my last. I will be back for kayak and surf lessons this summer! Cal Coast, you scored big hiring Emily.. she's a keeper!
