MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation, Santa Barbara

An excellent little kids center. Three floors with the roof, every single one is packed with good quality, inventive, well maintained, and highly interactive exhibits. It’s really amazing actually. Beautiful space, and kind staff :) We had a great time. On a Saturday morning it was very busy but not overwhelmingly slow. Many people wearing masks but not mandatory.

This is a dream of a museum, built for kids to play and discover. From the sound waves made visible on the first floor, the power of air on the patio, color and light discovery, aerodynamics, to the brilliant solar exhibit on the glorious rooftop.. This museum is less "look" and more "do"! Hands on learning at it's finest. Make sure to buy tickets online ahead of time, don't be afraid to call to ask what their slow times tend to be! I did that and we were thrilled to really be able to walk right up to most exhibits and play! The kids only had to really wait for a few things. 10/10, will be back
