Certified-sustainable boutique winery dedicated to Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines from a single vineyard on the bank of the ancient Sisquoc River, known as the Santa Maria Bench.Riverbench Vineyard & Winery is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.
Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when it’s first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were planted on the property. Since then, some of the most renowned wineries in Santa Barbara County have purchased our fruit for their own wines.
Take in the vineyard views from our Santa Maria Valley tasting room - a restored 1920’s craftsman style house on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Our garden, with a bocce ball court and horseshoe pit, is ideal for a wine country picnic.

Great wine tasting in downtown Santa Barbara. We enjoyed the option to pick your own tasting (mix of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, all Pinot, or bubbly) and liked most of the wines.

My Husband and I usually visit 2-3 times a year. This is our favorite winery on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. The atmosphere is wonderful and the setting is peaceful. The staff is terrific: friendly, knowledgeable and also efficient. We have never felt rushed. I like that there is a choice of tastings. The picnic basket offered is well worth the price. Looking forward to our next visit later this month.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, really nice shade, good tables, cute patio and very clean facility. Had a really nice time just sitting and reading my book!
