Riverbench Vineyard & Winery, Santa Barbara

4.8
#33 of 38 in Wineries in Santa Barbara
Certified-sustainable boutique winery dedicated to Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines from a single vineyard on the bank of the ancient Sisquoc River, known as the Santa Maria Bench.

Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when it’s first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were planted on the property. Since then, some of the most renowned wineries in Santa Barbara County have purchased our fruit for their own wines.

Take in the vineyard views from our Santa Maria Valley tasting room - a restored 1920’s craftsman style house on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Our garden, with a bocce ball court and horseshoe pit, is ideal for a wine country picnic.
Riverbench Vineyard & Winery is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.

  • We visited Riverbench winery, and sampled the sparkling wine tasting. It was an exceptional experience, both the wines and the knowledge from Jodie our host. This winery is situated in the funk zone.....  more »
  • This was a stop on the Urban Wine Trail card. We really enjoyed the chardonnays and the clone 115 Pinot. Brad was hilarious!!!! Shipping rates were good!  more »

  • The Estate Chardonnay was fantastic here and the atmosphere is really relaxing.
  • Love Riverbench! Pinots are wonderful...as is the sparkling. Plenty of picnic tables in a lovely setting too!
