New steps are actually 225 stair steps….. counted them today! Fun place to go. Beautiful homes and a couple of hidden concrete beach-level pools to explore.

A hidden treasure in Santa Barbara! Peaceful and clean. 💡It’s not really 1000 Steps, maybe 100, but if you walk along the beach, it’s surely 1000! This beach is not busy. A great place to sit and relax away from the crowd. Reading a book next to the beach is a good idea but bring an umbrella. Bring your beach shoes or slippers. The water goes all the way to the steps sometimes. Pets are welcome here. Parking is really small and only for few cars but there are street parking on the other side of Shoreline Dr (along Santa Cruz Blvd). Just take a walk to the beach. No restrooms.

so fun!! It is not 1,000 steps in case you were worried. There were a few other people there when we went on a Saturday morning. Most walking dogs.
