Must see · Water Park · Theme Park
The four sections at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari allow you to partake in amusement park rides, food, and music all themed around a different major holiday. The complex's unusual name comes from the inspiration of its host town, Santa Claus, Indiana. You can travel through areas dedicated to Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the Fourth of July as you progress through the park, regardless of the time of year. Thrill-seekers can indulge in the three classic wooden roller coasters, a signature attraction. Don't miss the site's water park, which offers water slides, wave pools, and what's claimed to be the world's longest water coaster rides. • Great looking park! The landscaping is outstanding! Overall a wonderful experience for my family My only complaint.......there was a lack of efficiency on the ride. I know they have to check for safety and ensure everything is in order. However I am basing this on many other parks I have been to. Seems that the staff at other locations tend to get the rides moving quicker.
  • A beautiful park. I really enjoyed it. The roller coasters are really thrilling. The park is great for wooden coaster fans especially, although their newest is a steel coaster and a fun ride, even though its a bit of a trek back in the park. I do love the free soda and sunscreen...both helpful on the very warm summer day. Their resources for people with disabilities are helpful too. There are some family restroom options and a helpful page on their website about sensory friendly spaces.
