  • This is one of our favorite places in Santa Fe! We have taken two of their hands-on cooking classes so far. It's one of our favorite activities to share with friends - especially in the summer when it's hot outside/sometimes having thunderstorms. The chefs in each class were knowledgeable and well-organized. We appreciated the booklet that contained recipes and had a place for additional notes. There are mirrors above the work stations which enable us to view everything the chef is demonstrating while seated at the tables and taking notes. The best part of each class? Getting to sit down and savor the fabulous dishes we had made! The recipes are easy to do once you are home. We had to get some specific spices and spice mixes, but the recipes usually don't require a lot of specialized kitchen gadgets. We have already had tamale-making parties at home after taking the classes there.
  • We did the Red Chili Workshop with Chef Lois Ellen Frank, assisted by Kyle Pacheco. We chopped, diced, roasted, blended, grilled - and just had a great time. Both Chef Frank and Kyle did an excellent job of offering guidance in addition to bits of information that offered nuance to the recipes. We had a great time and will definitely do another class.
