Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) was a private, for-profit art school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The university was built from the College of Santa Fe (CSF), a Catholic facility founded as St. Michael's College in 1859, and renamed the College of Santa Fe in 1966. After financial difficulties in 2009, the campus was purchased by the City of Santa Fe, the State of New Mexico, and Laureate Education, and reopened with a narrowed focus on the film, theater, and other arts. As the Santa Fe University of Art and Design it became a secular college of 950 students. According to the U.S. Department of Education, the graduation rate was 22% in 2017. The university closed in May 2018.

  • I really enjoyed the way the art was presented and the variety. Couldn't spend the time I wanted but will come back someday and spend the day there.  more »

  • Went to this school for 1 semester. Although things were not 100% awesome I will say that I am sad to see this school closing. It had a beautiful campus, the food was wonderful in my option and I just loved the environment it had. I hope someone can utilize this campus for great and not let it get ruined and run down. If UNM was smart, they could buy this property and branch off to art students that would like to further their education. I would definitely go back if that happened
  • The administration will probably ignore calls until you either talk to tbem personally or til they happily call to collect their money. The photography teachers are great and super encouraging but the price of tuition does not show when it comes to the support from administration. They charge for any fee they can such as a parking sticker which they don't tell you about along with other nonsense. All in all the teachers are good, courses are acceptable but the administration isn't the best because how disorganized and malevolent they are. The students are lit though #gang gang
