Founded in 1999 and curated by Brent Kliewer, The Screen shows world, art, and independent cinema, as well as international performances of operas, ballets, and plays via satellite. It was used by the now-defunct Santa Fe University of Art and Design’s Moving Image Arts Department on the campus to show films for courses and student clubs.

  • Great little movie theatre to see eclectic artsy movies. Run by the CCA in SF but located on the campus of the old College of Santa Fe. We really enjoyed being there, hope it makes it.  more »
  • We went to try it out, and so enjoyed the cool stuff to put on popcorn. Really unique movies you won't find anywhere else. This is a great Santa Fe experience. Nice service. Tons of unusual drink...  more »

  • Not your typical "Art House" theater. This theater is HUGE!! and very nicely kept. The seats have that wave feeling like from a 1950's Movie House too. Go see a art movie. You will LOVE it! The screen is WAY bigger than any other local theater.
  • Saw a couple films in the Santa Fe Independent Film Fest: The War at Home and New Mexico Shorts. Nice screen and theater, but sadly the Santa Fe School Of Art and Design closed last May, so the area is desolate at the moment.
