Winery / Vineyard · Hidden Gem · Food & Drink
Certified-sustainable boutique winery dedicated to Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines from a single vineyard on the bank of the ancient Sisquoc River, known as the Santa Maria Bench.

Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when it’s first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were planted on the property. Since then, some of the most renowned wineries in Santa Barbara County have purchased our fruit for their own wines.

Take in the vineyard views from our Santa Maria Valley tasting room - a restored 1920’s craftsman style house on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Our garden, with a bocce ball court and horseshoe pit, is ideal for a wine country picnic.

  • The tasting room is a pretty, old home. Nice outdoor picnic grounds. Only chardonnay and pinot noir varietals, plus sparkling, available. Thought the tasting price was high at $20 each.  more »

  • Great chardonnay, Pinot and sparkling. Excellent staff and location. Well worth the extra drive from Los O.
  • The Estate Chardonnay was fantastic here and the atmosphere is really relaxing.
