The SMVHS is a non-profit animal welfare organization committed to providing shelter and care for homeless cats and dogs. Our adoption program is now occupying our brand new facility at 1687 W. Stowell Road in Santa Maria.

Our adoption facility accepts pets from people who are no longer able to care for them and we work diligently on finding these pets a new, “forever” home. We also have a clinic that provides affordable spaying and neutering for dogs and cats in our community.

  • Great museum with people who care and are enthusiastic about what they do.
  • Once living in this small town in the past trying to forget the past and somehow in that aspect, for the children of those who want to take and I applaud the effort. If the town your grandmother, Grandma's Grandma, for inherited things from her story archive, a place like this as well with minor streets seems to be the pleasure of creating the story. However, in the eyes of outsiders who came from all over guest collection this exhibition, even without a lot of rambling, not-so-interesting topic classification is also inconsistent. Of course, throwing in a free look. Still, the Museum is not to see because of the name of Santa Maria in time if you eat a lot of disappointed people step in and move on. Still, it was interesting to me was the two or three things in the past, there was a keepsake. Rustic kitchen and dining room set in front of an unusually elaborate made by luxury baby belongings (stroller and crib) are impressive, and laundry washing machine, which brought innovation in (by pressing and sucking machine) and have fun.
