Visit Charles M. Schulz Museum, dedicated to "Peanuts" comics and featuring 7,000 original comic strip drawings and various artwork. See the recreation of Schultz's work area, with his original drawing board. You'll meet the evolving personae of Snoopy, carved in a 43-layer wooden sculpture, and see a mural of Lucy and Charlie Brown containing 3,588 comic strip images painted on 5 x 20 cm (2 x 8 in) ceramic tiles. You can learn to become a cartoonist in the education room, where hands-on activities invite would-be artists of all ages (it's included with the price of admission). Browse through original artworks created for the comics, see Shultz's personal items, such as his hockey jersey and cartooning trophies and awards, and take a walk through a labyrinth in the shape of Snoopy's head. You'll find other treasures outside the museum, including a cafe and ice skating arena. Please check website for up-to-date hours. My family visited today and absolutely loved it! Our youngest is 15 and we enjoyed the whole thing. The displays were very fun and also very educational. Absolutely loved the way the comic strips were incorporated into everything, including the bathroom walls!! And there is nothing more fun then putting four adults in a room and seeing who is capable of folding a red dog house and drawing the classic Peanuts characters!! What a great place for people of all ages!

There's fun for all here. I arrived around noon on a weekday and the museum was populated mainly by adults. There are changing exhibits as well as permanent ones (like the recreation of Schulz' office/studio). Right now one of the exhibits shows who the people were that inspired the various Peanuts characters. Very enjoyable. There's also a large room with kid sized tables and supplies for drawing. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
