  I was surprised that this museum was here in little Santa Teresa, NM (population a shade over 4,000). It's a little difficult to find, but it's definitely worth it whether you're into airplanes...  more »

  Friendly staff, fairly priced, and for a hanger in a desert the temp was pretty cool inside. Loved all the different planes, pilot stories, and old school vehicles/motorcycle. Great place to bring the family and also great for history enthusiasts like myself.

  Neat museum in the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip if you like aviation and/or vintage cars. They have some fairly rare WWII aircraft like a P-38 and P-51 is almost flyable condition. Most of the museum is inside a large hangar that's a little warm on summer afternoons but not unpleasant. Fun memorabilia scattered around with very detailed plaque for most of the collection, which was very nice for the enthusiast in me!
