Lido Beach, Sarasota

Such a great beach! We wanted to go to a nice beach that wouldn't be as crowded but still have that beachy vibe with people having fun. The sand was soft, the water color amazing and the parking was free and close to the beach! What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, there's a mini bar near the bathrooms and they serve alcoholic drinks along with virgin drinks as well! The bathrooms were very clean and they had many stalls as well as changing stalls. We can't wait to go back!!

We went here twice during our week long vacation because we liked this beach so much! It's not nearly as crowded as siesta key and it was very easy to get a spot at the edge of the water and still be away from others. The water here is beautiful! There are lifeguards on duty and there is a snack bar, shower, swimming pool, and bathrooms at one end of the parking lot. There is a big free parking lot and also free street parking here. The sand is soft but there are shells here and when you get close to the water there is an area with a lot of broken shells before it's soft sand again. I would definitely recommend this beach if you want to social distance and still enjoy a beautiful beach!
