  • Great county park/beach with clean restroom facilities. No admission charge and great location not too far from city center. Gorgeous sunsets , too !

  • I went to this beautiful park with our Kindergarteners. So much to discover. We took a long hike along a winding path to a lovely clearing where the children could wade in the water and discover...

  • Visited November of 2021. Was traveling thru Sarasota en-route to Ana Maria Island and decided to take a quick detour to South Lido beach. Overall quiet, laid back environment with great views of a straightway ocean passage of the Gulf of Mexico. The restrooms were fairly quick to find and to my surprise, super clean. Highly recommend to visit park. Just make sure to bring yourself and an empty drive to take plenty of photos : )
  • Pretty perfect Florida westcoast beach to find unique shells, throw a football, take a walk, lay on the cool sand, bring your kids, watch a breathtaking sunset, eat a Publix Sub, and just enjoy what the area is known for. Parking can be a little tricky, but at least it's free and there is a large public restroom as well as places to BBQ in the shaded park areas. There is a little bit of a walk to get to the beach area, but the sand is very compact and easy to walk on. The water is beautiful here and it's not as crowded as some other beaches in the area, so it's worth the trip to the south end of the key. No dogs are allowed here unfortunately.
