Kayak Shak, Saratoga Springs

Great spot for a day on the water. Was in a kayak within 10 minutes of pulling into the lot. They have all sorts of watercraft and bathrooms on site. There was a restaurant but it wasn’t open today so I’m not sure of the hours. Everyone who worked there was helpful and friendly- super efficient even with a lot of different groups trying to get started. 25 for three hours- such a great deal, and the lake is beautiful for seeing turtles fish birds and hearing all sorts of amazing wildlife. Such a great way to spend a few hours.

The perfect place to enjoy a beautiful day in Saratoga Springs. The bright colors, friendly staff and the water make this a perfect place. You can stand up board or kayak for like 20-30 bucks for the day I forget the amount. You sign a waiver and just need to keep the life jacket on the board/kayak. You can journey in two different directions for miles. I never go too far, it’s such a relaxing thing to just lounge. There’s a pizza place on the premise but it’s not always opened check the hours before hand.
