  • This is truly a hidden gem. It's one of the larger Japanese gardens in the bay. I have gone to the friendship garden in SJ is nice but cramped and the one in SF is incredibly small. There is a place to find your corner of peace. There is a ton of shade and the building are beautiful. If you're interested in spending some time in a quiet place semi away from people give this place a try. There is free parking although it is a small lot. It's only $10 to get in and their gift shop is adorable.
  • Small and perfectly formed. A lovely place to spend a short time in the peace and tranquility of a Japanese garden. It's slightly off the beaten track so probably best if you have your own transport.
