We have visited the Museum a couple of times before, but this was a special trip. A co-worker of mine, who is also an artist, was asked to paint some lighthouses of Lake Superior to have displayed...

Really cool experience walking and touring this old freighter and learning about some of the history of the locks and shipping on the great lakes. If I remember right they have a military/veteran...

Loved it. Exactly everything it was promised to be in the brochure, plus you have an amazing view of the locks and freighters passing by from the top deck. The artifacts from the Edmund Fitzgerald are very cool to see in person. The living quarters have been well preserved, and the placards throughout the ship are very detailed, pointing out aspects of the ship/artifacts that would be easy to miss.
