Skylake Galleries, Sautee Nacoochee

We got to meet one of the owners, Charles, who does the beautiful photographs on canvas. He prints them himself and even gave us some of his personal artist history! His wife Nona does the stunning oil on linen paintings, and they are breath-taking. They also with with several other artists and have an antique shop with all kinds of treasures. Very much worth a visit!

My wife and I 'discovered' Skylake Galleries this past week end and so enjoyed meeting Nona and Charles Stephens, the owners. They are wonderful people and so talented - Nona an artist and Charles a photographer. Their large Gallery is full of mounted paintings and photography most of which they have personally created and which are reminiscent of the Sautee Creek and the Appalachian foothills in northeast Georgia. They also offer many other home decor products. If you live in Atlanta or the surrounding area you must visit their store, enjoy their company and buy some of their beautiful art - as we did!
