Visit the Andrew Low House and see the ante-bellum splendor of a time when cotton was king and fortunes were made. Hear the story of Andrew Low, one of the South's most successful cotton merchants whose southern sympathies led him to involve his family in espionage and to support blockade runners and the Confederacy.

The house is currently owned by The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Georgia and is open to tours daily.

    Very well maintained and historically beautiful in so many ways. We toured the Andrew Low House from an evening trolley ghost adventure and found the home to be the best part of the tour. We tried to snap tons of pictures hoping to see some sort of apparition, but sadly just lots of light spots. Allowing the public through the home is great and we appreciate all the hard work that goes into maintaining and continuing to teach the history of the landmark.

    Absolutely stunning and very interesting history. Wonderfully restored and our guide was very knowledgeable. My 10 year old asked what felt like a million questions and the guide was great about not only answering him but discussing and helping him figure out the answers himself.
