  • This small, but powerful museum is worth a visit. The thoughtfully-designed exhibits, the film, and the staff made this a great way to learn more about the history of the civil rights movement. I...

  • What an amazing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through this museum. Ms Vaughnette took her time going through the museum with us and the history of the Civil Rights History in Savannah. A must see if you are visiting Savannah. They have a free parking lot and it is $10 to enter. They are cashless for the entry fee but you can also leave cash donations. It is worth every penny.
  • What an eye-opening experience!! I will never forget this museum and everyone should come and see this historical place. I'm not a huge history buff, which attests to how well this facility kept my interest! It is handicap accessible (Elevators) and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable!! Thank you for making our trip an unforgettable one! Side note: There is an exhibit that allows you to sit and be served as a "white" person or a "colored" person of the 1960's,-such an emotional experience! That's all I'm going to say!
