  This was an amazing tour. Dirk is an incredible resource for Savannah history and architecture and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. He doesn't do the cliche tour--he actually shows you SAVANNAH. This is a tour for people who actually want to learn something about this beautiful and historically complex city. This is bar none the best walking tour--the next time we come to Savannah, we're booking with Savannah Rambles again (and hopefully we'll get Dirk again too!). Thanks again!

  Our walking tour with Dirk this past weekend was absolutely the highlight of our trip. He provided a fascinating analysis of the unique relationship between Savannah's culture and architecture. He is relaxed, friendly, professional and a delight to wander the historic district with. We highly recommend him!
