  Historic site that made the entire town. It is in an interesting spot. At the end of the road is a small parking lot next to a few homes. Some seem to be extremely old and unfortunately falling apart and victims of vandalism. There is a nice part by the lake where the waves crash over onto potholes that dot the rocky beach. Wonderful place for pictures.

  Fun place to scramble around on the rocks and wade in the river! When we were there it was shallow, warm, and fairly safe (a bit slippery). The parking situation is across the highway, but there's a good crosswalk.
