McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, Scottsdale

4.8
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park brings American train history to life. The oldest exhibit in the attraction is the Paradise & Pacific Railroad, a miniature train and railroad you can ride that operates along a 1,158 m (3,800 ft) track. The route features a tunnel, turntable, and trestles. See railroad artifacts, an antique locomotive, and a train car. Admire the three Navajo hogans, or traditional houses, that pay tribute to the land's history. If you're traveling with children, they'll enjoy the themed playground and 1950 carousel. • I used to go here as a kid and loved it. Now as an adult I still love it and so do my kids. The train is the best part but the whole park is alot of fun itself.  more »

  • This park is a family favorite. We come to this park year round and always have to get a train and carousel ride in with every visit. The covered play are for the kids is pretty big and well kept as well as the wild wild west play area. The miniature trains are always fun to watch and a big hit with the kids because they can touch the glass and make the trains move. We've done pictures with Santa twice at the park and we're very happy with the memories made. We even had one of boys' birthday party in the park and the staff was great and everyone had a pretty good time. It can get crowded during the Christmas season but all the lights set up it's truly worth it. Pro tip: If you don't like crowds, swing by the week after Christmas. Food is available, affordable and good in general. Staff is generally friendly and kind. Would recommend for families.
  • A very nice park to visit. I would say it's more for Children 7 and younger. We rode the 'train' which the children enjoyed. The play area had great coverage. We enjoyed our stop at the ice cream shop as well. Not necessarily a place you would have to visit on vacation.
