The Center’s vision is to inspire, provoke and entertain by presenting a wide array of dynamic performances, programs and events chosen to engage the community. Our season is filled with marquee names from Broadway, Hollywood and beyond performing exciting new collaborations and works, many for the first time on our stage. You will also find emerging talents from around the globe, including aspiring young artists from as far away as Brazil, Japan and South Africa. Seeing these extraordinary performers in our intimate 853-seat Virginia G. Piper Theater is a truly one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
As presenters of live arts, we curate a diverse season filled with the artists of our time. But there is so much more to a performing-arts institution than what happens onstage. Our audiences play a vital role as well. In our increasingly digitized and virtual world, the performing arts provide a unique opportunity to be part of a shared, real-time experience. All of the Center’s programs connect us to the greater world, to our inner artist and, most of all, to each other.
Join us to rediscover your favorites and take a chance on the unexpected – you won’t be disappointed!

We saw Rufus Wainwright tonight and it was a fabulous show. All the staff (most I believe volunteer) were extremely helpful and friendly. The venue's sound was superb and we were impressed with the courteous exit strategy displayed by the patrons. Always unfortunate however when many people decide they are going to leave the concert BEFORE it's actually over. This is a distraction to all other paying guests and really should be avoided.... especially when you have to squeeze by others in order to leave. There were also major line ups for the washrooms so we're thinking they didn't have enough of them. Overall an extremely enjoyable experience.
Had been to Thaikuddam bridge concert. The atmosphere was electric and loved the sound in the auditorium! Well designed auditorium I must say!
