  • Not just coal! Interesting museum detailing the immigrant experience in the Lackawanna Valley. Textile displays (especially silk) very interesting. Highly recommend.
  • Some may wonder what's to be seen here, or what can be shown in an anthracite museum. I must say, there is an enormous surprise waiting for you. From Charles Edgar Patience's sculptures to the equipment used for mining, a real life bar, silk factory equipment, and many more items waiting to be seen, you will not regret a second spent here.
