  • Lots of natural foam - suds on the beach as the waves were coming in and out, really fun to see and watch. Nice short hikes to stretch the legs AND they had a handicap friendly trail. The water was.....  more »
  • This is a pretty park with lots of trails. We walked around the top sampling different views, but a walk to the beach and closer to the birds located on the nearby rocks would have been even better...  more »

  • Limited parking is about the only downside you will find with this park. There is beach access from one of the side trails and down some steps. The views are simply amazing and well worth the short hike to different view points. There are multiple points to take pictures and see the coast line both north and south. Lots of sea birds to see as well as the waves coming into shore in all their power and glorious white foamy serenity as they crash upon the large rock outcrops along the shore. It is a must see place for any coastal visitor. Entrance is completely free and they do have public restrooms for the family to use and usually one or two park rangers on hand to answer questions too.
  • This is an amazing place for people of all ages... but the parking is limited and would be difficult to turn around with a longer vehicle, especially if parking is full. Terrific place for senior citizens or others with limited ability to access the beach, with a fantastic deck to view the ocean, and a paved ADA path to an excellent overlook. The walk to the beach is somewhat steep and rocky, but not very long. Great place for families with children! The rocks prevent waves from being large, so it would be safe for young children. Lots to explore! We were there at a low tide of 3 (which isn't a very low tide) and there was wonderful ride pooling. Clean, well kept bathrooms. Nice picnic areas. No foot washing spigot.
