Husky Stadium (officially Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium for sponsorship purposes) is an outdoor football stadium in the northwest United States, located on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

It has been the home of the Washington Huskies of the Pac-12 Conference since 1920, hosting its football games. The university also holds its annual commencement at the stadium in June. It is located at the southeastern corner of campus, between Montlake Boulevard N.E. and Union Bay, just north of the Montlake Cut. The stadium is served by the University of Washington Link light rail station, as well as several bus routes.

The stadium underwent a $280 million renovation that was completed in 2013. Its U-shaped design was specifically oriented (18.167° south of due east) to minimize glare from the early afternoon sun in the athletes' eyes. The stadium's open end overlooks scenic Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, including Mount Rainier. Prior to the 2013 renovation, its total capacity of 72,500 made it the largest stadium in the Pacific Northwest and one of the largest stadiums in college football.

  • The view is fantastic. I do not think there is a bad seat in the house. The facilities (WC, food stands, etc.) are plentiful and close. If there was a down side, my team lost. But, other than...  more »

  • Always a great atmosphere on game day! Fun respectful fans and one over the best venues anywhere! Beautiful view of the water and architecture of the stadium. Limited food but plenty of options. Great place to enjoy a game, GO DAWGZ!
  • University of Washington Graduation. Excellent venue but not for the ones with mobility issues. Drop-off for those with special mobility needs was not easily accessible. Pick up as well was not clearly noted. The graduation however was awesome and once in the stadium, there were ample seats for the regular folks as well as for the ones with mobility issues. The graduation ceremony was awesome as there were captions for those with hearing difficulty as well as listening devices. Beautiful weather.
