Head to Kerry Park for views of Seattle, complete with the Space Needle in the foreground of the city skyline. Watch ferries traversing Elliott Bay, see the twinkling city lights, or, on a clear day, spot Mt. Rainier in the distance. This panoramic scene is worth the uphill walk to the park, but the park itself is small and, therefore, typically only used as a place for taking postcard perfect photos and simply enjoying the view. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Seattle holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Kerry Park and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
Kerry Park Reviews
The small, but beautiful park is the perfect spot for taking photos of the Seattle skyline. It sits atop the famous Queen Anne Hill with it's stately old homes and lush gardens. more »
This is always on my tour when I have out of town guests visiting, and I never get tired of it. It's usually easy to find street parking and only takes about 15 minutes to stop by and enjoy the... more »
You have to go and see the view from this scenic outlook in this little park! I get it. Pike Place first but this MUST be second you will not regret it. We spent an enjoyable hour on a gorgeous day watching the progress of a container ship entering the Seattle port. The views are amazing. The views are clearly the go to backdrop for the locals as evidenced by the live Fox News broadcast from this location on the day we were there. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely as well. Please respect the homeowners in the area. Watch your noise, respect both the public and private property, and enjoy the wonderful views.
When filming around Seattle for my project I wanted to get the best possible shot of the skyline that I could find without spending $40 to head to the top of the space Needle. I love that thing but it was a little too much for what I needed to do. A quick Google search led me to this tiny park that has the single best city view I've ever seen. This small park lends you a better viewing experience than the likes of even Griffith observatory in LA. Just be careful of how steep the walk on the way up would be.
