#12 of 65 in Parks in Seattle
Spreading across about 3.4 ha (8.5 acres), Olympic Sculpture Park is dotted with approximately 20 modern outdoor art creations made of materials such as steel, wood, glass, bronze, and granite and built between 1965 and 2014. You can visit a climate-controlled room with an 18 m (60 ft) long decaying wooden log that hosts various life forms, which you can observe under a magnifying glass. See a 3.5 m (11.5 ft) typewriter eraser, and look for a bright white, 14 m (46 ft) tall head that represents a mountain nymph from Greek mythology. • This is an amazing park. Beautiful walking path with sculptures along it, overlooking the water. The sculptures and public works are so interesting. Also, SAM does events in their main space, and it's great for kids too. It's also cool for child free peeps as well. This park does an amazing job at making a cool park for adults and kids to enjoy. Another Seattle delight!
  • Its a refreshing park at the edge of a bustling city. Bike tracks, jogging/walking track, lot of places to sit, views of islands across sound and filled with awesome residents of Seattle. This place will make your evening work it, specially when its sunny. I've been there several times and have enjoyed a lot every time. Even my parents loved this park.
