Smith Tower Reviews
In looking at things to do in Seattle, the Smith Tower was rated high and after visiting I can see why. It is truly a step back in time of grandeur, the exhibits are interesting, the elevator ride fun... more »
Having visited the Space Needle, we also wanted a perspective from Seattle's first skyscraper. This is a magnificent old building still in original condition in many ways. it was such a treat to visit... more »
The view is absolutely stunning, but the bar and food service is slow. Not sure if it was because it was Tuesday at 5:00pm, but it is very loud in the Chinese Room. Food was pretty good, if a little pricey. Drinks are expensive, but delicious. Also the price of tickets to the Smith Tower itself are expensive, but the interactive bits of the tower are a lot of fun, and there is a lot of cool history in this building. However, get photos. Beautiful room and even better view from the Chinese Room.
Smith tower boasts beautiful panoramic views across Seattle and the Puget sound. You can take a small elevator up to the top floor where there's a restaurant serving nice drinks and small eats. I love this restoration and the historical information displayed at the bottom. It is still an active office block so I wish it wasn't as expensive to access.
