  • The 'movie' they have you watch really needs an update, as well as the museum in general. It still has cool things to look at but its very tiny and can be done in a matter of 10 minutes. If you love pirates/pirate history, I'm not sure I'd recommend this place. It focuses on just one single local exhibition rather than including history of other pirates and journeys.
  • This was my first time checking the museum out. I've always been fascinated with the shipwrecks off the coast so this was right up my alley! There is a movie you can watch at the beginning, I think it needs to be updated badly. My 9 yo was ready Ieave the theater after about 2 minutes. After that though, everything was very interesting. They had great treasures displayed, interesting information, and several hands on displays for us to play with. I would love to see some modernizing of the museum as a whole, but it was still a great way to spend an hour or two learning about Mel Fisher's finds. The woman that works the gift shop was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
