  • This was not an easy hike for me to do. Maybe there are easier trails in bear mountain found this trail beautiful but physically challenging. We also got off trail and it as scary in one place...

  • Absolutely incredible hike!!! Challenging and not for the faint of heart. Expect to work hard and climb a steep slope, but the views make the challenge worth it. Not crowded because of the steep climb which made it very appealing to me! It took my wife and I about 2:35 to go up and down. We push the pace more than most, but enjoyed every step! I’d do it again for sure!
  • Beautiful views the entire hike. To give you an idea on difficulty, my buddy who I hiked with is not an active person and came from Texas at about sea level. He made it to the top but it was a very slow 2 hour hike up and he struggled a lot. He managed to get some altitude sickness as well which is odd for that elevation. He did make it though so I feel that most people can do this hike but take it slow. For less active people, the first mile is beautiful and you will have to do some scrambling but turning around after the first mile might be a good idea if you're not used to hiking. This was a second time I did this hike. I'm a very active person and found the hike to be very easy. If you consider yourself to be an average active person, you won't have a problem and you'll love to views.
