A relaxing escape from it all in Sedona! The Oak Creek Canyon Trail, while unassuming on your map or guidebook at first glance, is breath-taking! Winding down from the trailhead into the canyon and being met by a babbling brook takes you away from reality for time. You free yourself from the desert air and find yourself in a mountain forest, watching the stream dance down its channel. It's so nice and cool, with a notable temperature change as you step down from the path and stand by the creek. Seriously, if you have any extra time or want to make even a separate trip just to see Oak Creek Canyon, do it! This was honestly one of my favorite trails in Sedona!
