  • I researched the website for the Red Rock State Park and noticed the "free" 10am naturalist 2 hour hike. First come, first serve and it was great. There is a $7 per person to enter the park, plenty...

  • We LOVED the Eagle’s Nest Trail! Just the right level of difficulty for my 5, 8, and 10 year old kids. The views were amazing and we visited in early April when the weather was just perfect. The best part was that the trail was not crowded at all, we only crossed paths with a 1/2 dozen people. (More on Kisva trail).
  • We did the full moon hike on 10-21-21. I want to recognize our “tailgater” Celeste, she is amazing. The hike was a little harder than I thought it would be, hence I was at the very back of the group, she ever so gently prodded and encouraged me to take my time, yet reminding me that we would miss the moon. For more than half the hike it was just Celeste and I. I apologize to you Celeste and the gentleman that waited at the visitor center for us to get back. Celeste your patience, professionalism, and understanding did not go unnoticed, I will always remember this day and the kindness you showed me, even I know I was kind of a pain, I still appreciate you. Thank You Shelly Durkee
