What fantastic place to hike! The incredible rock foundations that allow you to hike around (flat) or up. more »
A very attractive small (280 ac.) park with riparian and red rock trails. Trails are well-built and well-marked and pack a lot of miles into a small area by wandering widely. Nice views of the Mogollon Rim to the north and the local buttes and mesas. Some recent history as well.
Red Rock State Park is the most beautiful place I've ever been to. There's countless trails to pick from. The park rangers are helpful. It's clean. I went in October and it wasn't hot. It's also close to restaurants and gas stations which is helpful.
