The Melting Point, LLC is Sedona's first combination Hot Shop, Glass Gallery and Torchworking studio. We offer classes in the hot shop and torchworking studios, blow-your-owns, mini-melters (where children submit a drawing and the artists create it in glass), a high school summer program, small events, custom items and a multitude of handmade glass items, COE 104 glass and tools for glass beadmaking in the gallery. Each month, we host a well known lampworking artist teaching classes in the torch studio and have a guest artist in the hot shop, both professional/well known and emerging artists. We place an emphasis on creating a "glass experience" that both glass artists and customers will want to return to over and over, paying great attention to incorporating small details to make things fun and playful. Lampwork classes shown in The Melting Point feed are already filling so if you are interested in securing your spot, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org Owner: Erin McMillen, Hot Shop Manager: Jordan Ford, Hot Shop Artist: Austin Littenberg, Art Consultant: Taby Hyer, Torch Studio: Dani Hook.
All artist photos are supplied by the artists and are the sole property of said artists. The Melting Point does not own any of those images and has simply been given permission to use them by their owners.
Sadly, this needs to be said as well. Trolls (people making comments with no other reason but to be negative) will be banned from The Melting Point page. The Melting Point's vision is 100% positive with good intentions and goodwill towards all and will not associate itself with such behavior. A visit to The Melting Point represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Sedona tour planner to plot your vacation.
The Melting Point Reviews
We love this place!! Their glass art is like nothing else we've seen...such talent! I love their glass straws and now they have some with turtles and octopus on them along with other designs. Just the best place!
My wife and I went to a glass blowing class today. We had a great experience. Austin and Jordan were very professional but also funny and made us feel comfortable working with the glass. Excited to pick up our finished piece tomorrow. Highly recommend.
