  • This is probably one of the prettiest hikes in Sedona, if not the prettiest. We walked through an old orchard that was in bloom, crossed a bridge, and then meandered through a canyon along a creek...

  • This is an awesome trail. Get here early as they start to let people park before 8am when they open. Only so many cars can fit. We got there before 8am and the first half of the parking lot was already full. Cost 11.00 for a car of four, if you have more than 4people in the car it's an additional 2.00 per person. There's different prices for bikes and other vehicles but can't remember off hand. But back to the trail. Nice gradual grade of ups and downs, you cross a little over 5 times over the creeks path over rocks and make shift bridges. There's many places to stop and play in the creek, climb rocks, and take in some good sites. The end of it has an open water way where you can venture in but be ready to get wet. You can camp about 2miles and 3/4 after that point as the sign tells you. Over all an amazing time to enjoy 4hours
  • It's a long hike, about 6.5 miles round trip, but you can choose how far you go. The best rock formations in the canyon are about a mile and more in, but there are some red canyon walls right at the start too. Beautiful all throughout, as the creek is with you all along the trail. Fairly flat throughout. Have to cross the creek several times, where there are rocks and bigger branches to step on. The creek is extremely shallow in those spots, only a few inches deep. A fantastic hike.
