Beautiful park with many amenities. Playground for children, picnic areas, lake for boating (with gators), great trail that is dog friendly (1 or 2 mile loop), found at the end of the park. Many benches around both lakes to sit down and enjoy the scenery. You can walk, bike, or rollerblade on the trails. Beautiful park.

This park we found as we were driving around and what a great find! Had a wonderful, exciting, chill afternoon with my husband at this park. Felt like kids in a playground. Speaking of kids and playground, we were swinging like kids on recess on the swings and they are very sturdy and in excellent condition. There are also single swings just to sit and gently sway right in front of the pond, more for a calm meditative experience. Walking along, there is a boat ramp where some boats came and got off on the water. We were sitting at one of the well kept picnic benches and watching the water and the sun starting to set. Some guys came out on their jet skis and it was fun to watch. Another family came to watch them and the kid was cheering them on! When we were walking out, took a last swing, then we saw one of the aligators but it went into the water soo quickly. There were few different birds, a squirrel chilling on a picnic table, cormorant sunning itself, and a tree with at least 7 cormorants. The toilet was clean and I was grateful for that. Clean toilet in a park is a treasure! Had a great first experience and will definitely visit again to check out the trails.
