Seven Points is a city in Henderson and Kaufman Counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 1,455 at the 2010 census.The city is named for an intersection where seven roads converge. These are not Old West wagon trails, however; the town did not exist until nearby Cedar Creek Reservoir was built in the 1960s, and was not incorporated until the 1970s. The seven roads consist of two state highways (three directions), a farm-to-market road, and three county roads.GeographySeven Points is located at .According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles, of which, 2.5 square miles of it is land and 0.40% is water.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 1,145 people, 455 households, and 318 families residing in the city. The population density was 460.0 people per square mile (177.5/km²). There were 550 housing units at an average density of 220.9/sq mi (85.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.11% White, 0.61% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 2.53% from other races, and 1.66% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.03% of the population.
