  • This is the Cliffs of the Neuse state of NC outside of the City of Goldsboro. They have hiking trails, picnic areas, camping spots, fishing, boating, and a lake/small beach area where you can swim when it's open. We have also rented paddle boats here. It's a food area for nature education. The Cliffs overlook the Neuse River. Trails range from 350 ft to almost 2 miles. People also bike here and launch boats. They used to have a flotilla here in December. I'm not sure if the do it now or not.
  • Nice place, but after driving all day we found signs posted saying that the campground is closed due to construction! Very disappointing to say the least! 2021 Update! Happy to say campground is open! We've stayed there twice so far this year and have another visit scheduled in July. Several small cabins available, about half the sites have full hookups... bathhouse is fantastic! Staff super friendly and professional!
