  • This was a great experience and well worth the admission prices. The children and adults loved it and we highly recommend this zoo.

  • Very cute animals, axolotls, degus, I loved them a lot, was there for 1-3 hours, though you can take all the time you want, I loved Jeffrey, he loved being scratched. I approve.

  • We visited 6/23/2022 and were very impressed with everything! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. This is not a "roadside zoo" where animals are just in cages pacing around, in case you were wondering! The animals were very active and looked really happy and engaged with their surroundings. A keeper told us that 60% of their animals are surrendered exotic pets. The petting zoo was really nice and the goats were very interested in us. We watched some keepers preparing the animal diets for the day. The food was fresh and looked yummy! We will be back when we visit TN again.
  • This place was awesome! It's an indoor zoo hyper-focused on rainforest species. Many of the residents are rescued exotic pets that the owners were no longer able to care for. This experience gets you very close to the animals, with some coming out to interact with the visitors. The creatures were very active during our visit and all seemed to be in good health. Many seemed quite comfortable posing for photos. The petting zoo had mountain goats, sheep, and emu to feed. They were very friendly. Some other reviewers mentioned there is a strong animal pee smell in the gift shop area. This is true but doesn't persist through the whole experience. We got great photos with snakes, monkeys, birds, alligator, and more. It was truly an enjoyable, uncrowded, and relaxing time for the whole family.
