Bridge Garden Must See
The Bridge of Flowers is open April 1 through October 30th and is located off Route 2 on the Mohawk Trail in the beautiful village of Shelburne Falls, MA. It spans the Deerfield River, connecting the lovely towns of Shelburne and Buckland. Once an abandoned trolley bridge, now a garden pathway, the Bridge has been cared for by the Shelburne Falls Area Women's Club Bridge of Flowers Committee for over 80 years. There is much to see and do here in the Falls and surrounding towns. For more information, visit the Local Links page on our website.

The Bridge of Flowers is a nonprofit under the auspices of the Shelburne Falls Area Women's Club. The Bridge is cared for by a team of gardeners and volunteer members from across the community who work hard to keep the Bridge's many flowers, plants, trees, shrubs and vines growing beautifully throughout the season.

Visit the Volunteer page on our website to find out how you can spend some time on the Bridge, meet the gardeners, and have fun learning about Kolkwitzia amabilis!

  • The Bridge of Flowers was beautiful! Not only were the many types of flowers lovely to look at, the view was also breathtaking! After walking over the bridge we entered a little town of shops that offered one of a kind items from clothing to jewelry and household items. Musicians filled the air with sweet tunes that had us dancing! Will definitely be back to The Bridge of Flowers!
