  • Peaceful, well kept, sea breezes. This is where my where we carried out my late husband's final wishes of spreading his ashes in the Pacific Northwest's Pacific Ocean. We truly loved this park. The park ranger was very accommodating to our wishes.
  • Split down the middle by Hwy 101, beach access to the Hood Canal means crossing this busy road. There's a large beach and a roped swimming area. Waters are almost always calm as it broadens out here. There's a boat ramp and easy access for a relaxing kayaking experience. I can't imagine it would be a quiet place to camp given that the 101 stays busy round the clock.
