  • This is a quiet and peaceful hike with views of multiple smaller waterfalls along the Rose River. There are a few steep sections but this is a moderate hike overall. The trail is mainly shaded...

  • This was my favorite hike in Shenandoah! We did the loop and it was super nice. Many nice spots along the way and beautiful cascades. We went on a rainy day so there were almost no people and the waterfall was gorgeous! We dipped our feet in the pool, water was super refreshing and quite deep so you can even swim there! Going back up was a bit challenging since its rocky and steep but it isnt too bad, overall its definitely and easy/moderate hike! Well worth it!
  • This is one of my favorite hikes in the central district of the Shenandoah National Park. You can do it as a 3.8 mi loop according to Alltrails, which is what we usually do. It starts off at skyline drive and drops down around 800 to 900 ft where you make a turn and begin your climb back up. The hike follows two streams nearly the entire way so it's absolutely beautiful. Tons of cascading falls along with one big one.
