    Candlewood Lake is the perfect destination to cool off on a hot Summer Day with friends or a beautiful fall hike to peep the colorful leaves with your dogs. There are wonderful Lake communities up and down the 60 miles of coastline as well as public boat launches and beaches dotted around the 5 towns that surround it. If you are looking for fishing, boat renting, or eating at Down the Hatch- our Lake has it all!

    Really beautiful lake! You absolutely have to see it at sunset. The reflection off the water made for probably the most amazing sunset I've ever seen!
